[9] He left Bollywood temporarily after Geraftaar [15] and Dekha Pyar Tumhara to feature in Japanil Kalyanaraman (a sequel to his 1979 Kalyanaraman). In 1986, Haasan produced the technically brilliant Vikram and collabarated with Kodandarami Reddy for Oka Radha Iddaru Krishnulu and then K.
